Something New.

Is the theme at Kitty Bee Designs and it can be a new technique or stash item, and this time we are sponsored by the fabulous A Random Fan.

I chose to use Noah the Cowboy and coloured him using Promarkers and Flexmarkers, I used some horseshoe paper to tie in the theme and some linen string behind the picture. I stamped "Hi" onto his flag rather than having a seperate sentiment. The new thing I used was a set of grey flexmarkers.

Ingredients
Papers, pearls and twine from stash.
Coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers

I hope you can join us this time over at Kitty Bee Designs and try out something new.

I would like to enter into the following challenges;

7 Kids College Fund - Anything Goes
Paper Shelter - Winter Blues
Sisterhood of Crafters - Something New(Flexmarkers)

Today was the first post from the Sarah Hurley Design Team on the new Sarah Hurley 365 Blog and I was the lucky DT member picked to do it. You will find my fan-tashe-tic post and all the details here.

I won't go into all the details on here, I will pop the pictures on and the ingredients and hope you wander over to the Sarah Hurley 365 Blog for a proper look.

I love the fact the bookmark can be detached easily from the card and used seperately.

New Year, new challenge and new blog.

Happy New Year!! How quickly did the Festive period pass? Hope you all had a great time.  Now it's time to get back to some kind of normality, and my first make of the year is for the new Sarah Hurley 365 Blog. This new blog will showcase some of the amazing creations that the fabulous DT come up with using Sarah's fabulous range of products.

The first Challenge on the blog is "Thank You", and I opted to make a card using some of the stamps from my October "A Few of my Favourite Things" Kit, and the sentiment from the Sentiments Stamps. I used different colours of ink pads to make it nice and bright and popped some tiny gems onto the flowers.

Ingredients
Flower and leave stamps - A Few of My Favourite Things Kit
Lime Zest Promarker
Memento Ink Pads
Gems and paper from stash.

I hope you can join in with us this month, and enjoy having a browse around the new Sarah Hurley 365 Blog.
