First Holy Communion Card.

Hello, this month of May is whizzing by! This is traditionally the time for First Holy Communions and I was recently asked by a client to make a card for a lovely wee girl who was making hers.  I had a mini panic as I have never made one of these cards, hard to believe but true!  Thankfully within my ever growing digi stash I had some gorgeous papers that are perfect for such an occasion.

I decided to keep the card fairly plain and simple and let the images do the talking.  I used my trusty Cameo for the Chalice and Cross shapes, and even managed to use the "Nesting" function for the first time ever after watching a fab You Tube video on the British Craft Network, I now know I need to watch a LOT more of these type of videos lol.

How cool is that? All with the click of a button!

I matted and layered the images with pink card, and popped the centre one onto 3D Foam Pads to give the card some dimension.

Ingredients
Digi Papers
Cross & Chalice from Silhouette Design Store

Thanks for popping by, hope you liked the card, Carol x

Hello from a very rainy and cold Glasgow, my friend has now received this card so I can blog it lol!

Her favourite things are butterflies and anything dotty, and the colour purple so I made this card using the delicious Butterfly Thinlits from Stampin Up, and some of their gorgeous 12x12 papers.
